Real Estate Analysis For 2015 So Far
Ashland’s real estate market so far this year has been less than stellar from a sales standpoint due to the fact that inventory has remained so low. The winter weather for the beginning portion of the year certainly had an impact but more sellers have not put their homes up for sale as expected.
Activity has increased just not to the levels as you would expect for this time of year. If there were more homes available for sale without a doubt the sales figures would be better.
Anything coming on the market now is selling very quickly as long as it is priced correctly. Without question it is a sellers market in Ashland given how super low the inventory remains. If you are looking for a home to purchase be prepared to act quickly if you find something you like!
With only eighteen homes for sale, inventory is hovering near the lows of the decade. The possibility exists on any home that there could be multiple offers and homes selling over asking prices.
Ashland had another down month for closed transactions in May with only five sales. Last May was much better when there was 15 sales.
