Inventory now dropped for four consecutive months which is always helpful for those who are selling but a thorn in the side of a buyer. Inventory should however start to stabilize over the next few months as there will be fewer owners putting their properties up for sale..
The market has been solid over the last few months. In Westborough has now gone ahead of the pace of sales year to date compared to last year at this time. Sales moving forward should be decent but not spectacular due to seasonality changes.
The month of September was good with 20 sales. This was nearly the identical amount of sales last year when there were nineteen. Pending sales however with only 6 properties going under contract.
Year to date there have been 143 sales. At this same point in time last year there were 139 sales.
