Analysis of the Current Real Estate Market.

The market activity in April for sold properties was down from last year with 8 vs 12. Sales in fact year to date are lagging significantly from last year. Northbridge has less than half the sales so far this year with 17 vs 34 last year at the same time. The market has gotten off to a rocky start so far with the amount of sales lagging last year by a significant margin. The amount of pending transactions this month was good with 11.

Inventory has been holding steady over the last few months and continued the pattern this month with only 3 new homes available. Moving forward the amount of sales should pick up as we have entered the prime time selling season.

There were 129 sales in Northbridge in 2014. This was down from 2013 when there were 144 sales.
