The amount of homes for sale increased by 3 homes for sale over last months levels. 19 homes for sale remains an incredibly low amount of properties available for purchase. Lack of inventory is keeping sales down for the year.

Real Estate Analysis For 2015 So Far
Ashland’s real estate market has been plagued by incredible low inventory levels all year! Do you hear this Ashland home sellers? There has been an unbelievable shortage of homes to purchase all year! The trend remained in effect this past month as well with only eight homes going under contract. This is not indicative of a weak market but so few homes buyers can actually purchase! This has provided a fantastic opportunity for those wishing to sell their home and getting top dollar.
Home right now are selling almost as quickly as they hit the market. Often times there is not much negotiating at all as sellers are in the drivers seat.
Without question it is a sellers market in Ashland given how super low the inventory remains. Buyers need to understand this fact and move accordingly when they find something they are interested in. I would not expect inventory to change much over the course of the balance of the year.
With only nineteen for sale, inventory is hovering near the lows of the decade. This creates a very competitive environment for home buyers looking to purchase a home.
Ashland had 12 sales in October. Last October was very similar to this year with 13 sales.
Year to date there have been 109 sales vs last year at this same time there were 127 sales.
