Ashland’s real estate market so far this year has been marked by an incredibly low number of homes for sale. Homes coming on the market if priced correctly are generally selling very quickly.
With only Nineteen homes for sale, inventory is at the lowest levels in decades. As we enter the prime time selling season the market without a doubt is going to favor sellers. With so few homes for sale when something comes on buyers will be fighting over it. I expect to see lots of homes that receive multiple offers and sales prices ending up over asking on many occasions.
Ashland had a fair month for closed transactions in March with only six sales. Last March there were seven sales. The lack of sales in mostly attributable to how few homes are available for purchase.
